Woodbine Investigation August 2012

We took some guests out to The Woodbine this August, and here is their story. We had a great time, and would love to have YOU join us next month!

 

The Madisonville Ghost Tour Trip

My daughter and her friend and I stayed at the Woodbine Hotel in Madisonville and did the ghost tour with Lindy and Danny.  (We previously did the Tomball Tour and had several experiences there!!!!) The hotel was exactly what I expected with the antiques and old wood floors. It had all the vintage charm.  The food was awesome and there was a lot of it.  Two people could easily share a meal.  We stayed in “Claire’s” room.  It did get freezing cold a couple of times but we didn’t see anything.  (Although I did make my daughter leave the light on all night! Ha)

I think one of my favorite parts was when we went behind the hotel to the old courthouse building.  We heard footsteps, a horse whinny (No horses around) and our hair and pants were inexplicably tugged on.   We also took a 10-15 minute walk to the cemetery.  I had several pictures that had odd white streaks and lights show up and also caught an eerie dark human shaped figure near a tree.  Something caused my camera to freeze several times (odd) preventing me from taking any pictures. I could go on and on forever about our experiences on this trip.  Our hosts were awesome.  They took us anywhere we wanted to go and showed us so many things about the paranormal and how to contact them.  We also learned a great deal of history with each tour we took.  Let me just say that you will not be disappointed if you take this tour.  We had a great time and plan on doing it again sometime in the future.
